This work is like handwriting, whether it is from print or script it follows me through the years and changes little, sometimes it is strong and firm, others weak and shaky. The pottery that has followed me through time is from the first impression of the excitement of seeing my first orchid, or scuba diving a reef with its tropical colors and exciting forms. The picture below is a photo from a plane of the Florida Keys. The larger green platter 23” was inspired by the islands.
All of the signature pottery is my image of my excitement about flowers, coral and sea life…..and all the beauty that surrounds us.
